Tay Tay (our nanny) took the girls to the zoo today. They opened up the bird / bee exhibit. Quinn wanted no part of it but Hassie Clare has found her calling!
The title of this blog entry is somewhat of an inside joke. Hassie Clare has crazy, wild hair when it is not pulled up or combed. We sometimes call her "the bird lady" because her hair looks like a giant birds nest and her quirky personality helps add to the nickname.
Taylor takes the girls to the zoo as often as allowed. One of things I love about her adventures with the girls is that it is not all fun and games. She is constantly teaching them about whatever they are doing. Today is was about birds and bees (get your mind out of the gutter ... not the birds and the bees:)! I addition to the educational teachings, she stays on top of them when it comes to manners, being polite and social behaviour. Their "field trips" are good for everyone!
